IAA-CSIC offers a a two-year postdoctoral contract in the framework of the Project “Severo Ochoa”. Candidates are expected to carry out their activity in the research line of Enhanced Science infrastructure and research capabilities, and in particular in the development of a prototype SKA Regional Centre.
- Contribute to the governance model of the SRC prototype network, while allowing the IAA to have first-hand information on the policies to be implemented [Y1-Y2]
- Develop an Archive that enables scientific reproducibility. Y1-Y3
- Implement an archive interface compatible with VO standards, facilitating multiwavelength astronomers to use radio data. Y1-Y2
- Identify additional technologies/tools to enable scientific reproducibility Y1-Y2
- Organise at the IAA the first International School on Open Science in the SKA framework. Y2
- Participate in the SRC Steering Committee Working Groups focused on FAIR and Archive policies. Y1-Y3
- Carry out networking activities with other international SRC prototypes. Y1-Y3
- Disseminate policies, initiatives and tools on Open Science to the Spanish and international communities. Y1-Y3
Requirements: (A cumplimentar)
• M.Sc. in Soft Computing
• PhD in Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence
The fellowships include a competitive salary and full health insurance. Selected candidates will be included in SO-IAA grants, which provide additional funds for scientific visits, attendance to advanced schools and workshops, and other training activities.
